Andrew Johnson

Andrew Johnson, the 17th president of the United States, was born on 12/29/1808, in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was 56 when he took office on 4/15/1865. Member: Democratic/National Union Party. He left office on 3/4/1869. His occupation before the presidency: Tailor. His college: None. He died in Elizabethton, Tenn., on 7/31/1875.
