Franklin Pierce

Franklin Pierce, the 14th president of the United States, was born on 11/23/1804, in Hillsborough, New Hampshire. He was 48 when he took office on 3/4/1853. Member: Democratic Party. He left office on 3/4/1857. His occupation before the presidency: Lawyer. His college: Bowdoin. He died in Concord, New Hamp., on 10/8/1869.
